The process of continuous renewal of plant roots is a natural phenomenon. Older cells are replaced with new ones, and those unused accumulate in the plant's stem. They are primarily made of cellulose, which can only be transformed by special microorganisms. These microorganisms convert cellulose into active carbohydrates easily absorbed by the plant, which are directly used as food. When the plant no longer needs certain parts (e.g. leaves or roots), these are removed, leaving cellulose. To maintain the health and strength of the plant, unprocessed cellulose must be regularly removed.

Hesi PowerZyme is a unique product, an extract made from these special microorganisms. It contains the same enzymes that assist in the natural process of cellulose processing.
