Hydrogel, also known as sodium polyacrylate, is a substance with an exceptional ability to absorb water and other water-based substances. As a result, hydrogel is perfect as a water and nutrient storage for plants. It is indispensable, especially during drought periods or prolonged lack of watering.

It doesn't matter whether you have large-scale cultivation, a home garden, or a few pots on the windowsill. Hydrogel is a practical solution that will save you time and effort. This is particularly beneficial if you are busy or travel frequently.

Hydrogel - how to use it?

You can apply hydrogel directly to the substrate in its dry form or wet form when it has already bound water. In this case, it is recommended to immerse the plant roots in it. For subsoil crops, it is recommended to use 1 kg of hydrogel per 1 m3 of soil. For pot plants, about 1 gram of hydrogel per 1 liter of soil is recommended. An interesting application of hydrogel is also protecting plants during travel when the roots are exposed.
