The internal cones direct the roots outward, to the open cones. There, due to the high density of air in the soil, the roots experience dehydration and inhibition of further elongation.

The plant responds to this by sending a signal for intensive root development on the sides to compensate for the losses. The result of this is a significant densification of the root system, which leads to a dramatic increase in root mass.

The porosity of Hercules Super-Roots promotes bacterial activity, and as a result, increases the availability of nutrients for plants. Thanks to this, the root system becomes extremely efficient in absorbing all available nutrients and water.
