Choose the right tent for your needs

Choose the right lamp for your crop.

LED lamps- are characterized by low power consumption is almost 50% less consumption, but also lower operating temperature so you will not have problems with too high temperature in the tent. 

The lamps selected here are the new generation lamps when it comes to the light color used, they perform much better compared to their predecessors with multi-colored LEDs.

Remember that the more light the greater the yield, it is the light that most determines the quantity and quality of the crop. 

LED lamps speed up let the growing cycle by about a week on average compared to HPS lamps but also give a slightly lower yield by 10%-15% compared to their counterparts in the HPS world

HPS lamp is the classic solution, higher power consumption, higher temperature in the tent, but also higher yield. A crop with a ratio of 1 gram/1 watt is considered an ideal crop. That is, for example, 100W for ideal cultivation should give 100gram of plant dry matter. 

HPS lamps require a power supply!

For suggested tents (especially for 240x120), use two suggested lamps.

Choose the right fan:. 

Radial fan PRIMA KLIMA-These are the most popular fans on the market, they are characterized by "immortality", good work despite the considerable air resistance, they are quite quiet.

If you need additional soundproofing, choose an acurstic silencer, the best way is to mount it on the fan outlet, for maximum soundproofing you mount two silencers through and behind the fan.

Remember that the larger diameter of the fan will allow slightly quieter operation. 

The fan must run all the time, including when the lamp is turned off. 

It is worthwhile to choose worm ties make the work easier, they do not dirty and do not stick the fan connectors as in the case of tapes, as a standard you need one for the filter and two for the fan

An activated carbon filter is the most effective way to get rid of unwanted odor.

Filters have different diameters, choose the right one for the fan you chose in the previous step. 

Filters also have different capacities specified in m3/h, try to choose a filter so that the capacity of the filter coincides with the capacity of the fan.

We even advise you to choose a slightly larger filter if you want reliability and even better filtration. 

The filter lasts for about 2-4 cultivation cycles. MAGNUM filters come with a complimentary hose clamp for connecting the ventilation duct and a replaceable pre-filter that gets dirty quickly in heavily dusty/dusty areas.

Choose the right amount of ventilation pipe.

Remember that it should coincide with the diameter of the filter and fan.

If you choose, for example, 3x 1m (we will send 3 meters in one piece, etc).

in addition, these are mineral fertilizers of the highest quality. Use all three throughout the cycle, recommended maximum dose of 2ml/1L

Atami Bloombastic is the best booster currently on the market, so we recommend choosing this fertilizer, alternatives are canna boost and canna pk.

Boosters are usually used from the middle of flowering, that is, an average of 3-4 weeks after the start of the flowering process of the plant. 

Blossom builder is a so-called finisher, that is, a booster that we use at the end, leaving aside other boosters and using it only together with the base. After using it, flushing should include a minimum of two waterings before cutting, without flush it can negatively affect the taste. It is very inexpensive and very efficient, it also does a great job.

We deliberately did not give the choice of root additives etc, because for a beginner they are not necessary and you can easily burn the plants by using them incompetently.

Choose the right pot the liter of the pot for your needs should be between 7L-11L

Remember to choose the right amount: we recommend 12-24 the smaller the number of plants in the tent, the larger the pot you can choose, the plant will return the harvest.

In the case of 1 plant, for example, it is worth taking 14 or 18L pot.

The substrates are adapted for our favorite plants, cleared of weeds and pests, mixed with perlite and pre-fertilized and with the right pH.

A good substrate guarantees you no problems at flowering and no unwanted pest larvae or weed seeds. 

Personally, we recommend cheaper variants of lightmix or terra proffesional soil, they are less fertilized and to a beginner will not cause so many problems.

If you want you can additionally mix soil with coconut or use coconut alone (but this option coconut alone is not recommended for beginners).

You can spread expanded clay or ceramic granules on the bottom of the pot-avoid using it on top of the pot-it hinders water evaporation and increases the chance of root rot.

To calculate how much soil you need, count the liters of all the pots you've chosen, and remember to add 10% more soil, because the compressed soil always takes up a little less space in the pot, so in practice you need a 50L bag for 4x 11L pots.

Stirring fans are not essential for cultivation, but they play a useful role, thanks to them we slightly lower the temperature, provide air movement to the plants, and reduce the risk of flower infection with mold.

Gardening wire - a great tool for tying or hanging things in the tent, very strong for weight and easy to tie. 

Scissors - very useful for cutting off drying leaves during cultivation and invaluable for getting rid of unwanted leaves after cutting plants, without them there is no way to prepare flowers.

Timer - practically indispensable - allows you to set the light cycle of the lamp to 18/6 vegetation, 12/12 flowering or, in the case of autoflowering plants, 16/8. The mechanical timer is much easier to use and faster to set. 

Duct tape - if you don't need to use screwdrivers or tape something down, protect your attachments with a piece of duct tape in an emergency.

Weather station - measures humidity and temperature - practically essential.
