Hesi CalMag – an effective calcium and magnesium supplement

Hesi CalMag is a liquid formula designed to address deficiencies in calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg), two nutrients essential for proper plant growth and development. It is especially recommended when using soft water, demineralized water (RO), and in any situation where plants show an increased need for these elements.

Calcium is responsible for the proper formation of cell walls and strengthens the structure of the entire plant. Magnesium, on the other hand, is a fundamental component of chlorophyll, enabling it to play a key role in photosynthesis. Deficiencies in these elements can lead to stunted growth, weakened plants, and impaired uptake of other nutrients.

Hesi CalMag is suitable for all common growing methods—in soil, coconut coir, and hydroponic systems. It can be used both preventatively and to quickly correct emerging deficiencies.

Directions for Use

Standard dosage:

2.5–5 ml per 10 liters of water (0.25–0.5 ml per 1 liter).

When using soft water or RO water:

Use regularly whenever preparing the nutrient solution.

In case of visible deficiencies:

the dose can be increased to approximately 1 ml per liter of water.

For best results, add this product to the water first, before adding base fertilizers.

Tips

Highly recommended for LED-lit crops, where the demand for calcium and magnesium is often higher,
monitor the EC level, as this product increases it,
do not exceed the recommended doses to avoid limiting the uptake of other nutrients.
