Plant roots are constantly undergoing a dynamic renewal process. They shed old cells, replacing them with new ones. As roots grow rapidly, they accumulate more old cells in the plant’s stem. These older parts of the plant are rich in cellulose, which can only be processed by specialized microorganisms. They convert this cellulose into active carbohydrates—ready-to-use food for the roots. If a root or leaf is no longer needed by the plant, the minerals from these parts are transported away (hence their yellow color), leaving cellulose behind. The plant then sheds these dead parts, and more and more unprocessed cellulose accumulates in the stem. In a natural environment, specialized microorganisms—particularly fungi—break down these plant fibers using enzymes.

Hesi PowerZyme is an essence of these special microorganisms, containing the same enzymes in their purest form.
