Unique Features of Air-Pots
Air-Pots are an innovative product in the gardening market, known for their unique, profiled walls. They look a bit like egg forms, consisting of closed cones inside and open cones on the outside. Unlike traditional pots, where flat walls repel the roots leading to the spiral process, Air-Pots have a completely different mechanism.
The inner cones direct the roots outward, to the open cones. Here, due to the high concentration of air in the soil, the roots dehydrate and stop elongating. In response to this, the plant sends a signal to grow roots on the sides to compensate for the losses. The effect is a densification of the root system, which leads to an increase in root mass.
The porosity of Air-Pots creates excellent conditions for bacterial activity, which increases the amount of available nutrients for plants. The root system becomes extremely efficient in absorbing these ingredients and water.
