Smart Bag CO2 is a natural, safe and economical way to deliver carbon dioxide - CO2 - to plants. Traditional methods, such as CO2 generators or tanks, can be costly and time-consuming. Once the Smart Bag CO2 is suspended using the "zips" included in the kit, there is no need to worry about supplying CO2.

Advantages of using CO2

Increasing CO2 levels in growing spaces (such as greenhouses) has numerous benefits, such as faster flowering, higher yields, stronger stems and heavier fruit and flowers. The process of photosynthesis, in which plants convert water, sunlight and carbon dioxide-CO2-into nutrients, is crucial to their growth. With more CO2, plants become more efficient at absorbing and utilizing this gas. This, in turn, leads to faster and more intense plant growth. In addition, higher CO2 concentrations mean that plants don't have to open their stomatal pores as often or as wide, reducing water loss and the risk of absorbing harmful pollutants from the air.

How does Smart Bag CO2 work?

Smart Bag CO2 contains a mycelium and organic matter that enables CO2 production for at least 4 months. The mycelium is responsible for taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide - CO2 through holes in the bag, creating a natural, economical and odorless CO2 "generator." The bag does not generate heat, simply hang it up and leave it alone.

How to use Smart Bag CO2?

After purchasing the Smart Bag CO2, hang it over the plants at or halfway up the peaks. One bag is sufficient for an area up to 120 x 120 cm. Due to its weight, the CO2 falls on the plants, providing them with the necessary gas for life. After about 4 months, the CO2 output will begin to decrease, at which time the bag should be replaced with a new one. The used bag can be poured on the compost, and the plastic packaging can be recycled.

Smart Bag CO2 may change color from brown to white, which is completely normal due to the development of mycelium. The bag may also swell, which is also a natural process. The bag starts working as soon as the green bag is pierced, and should not be opened before use so as not to interfere with CO2 production.
