CANNA D-BLOCK 1L

How to avoid problems with drippers when growing plants? To prevent the formation of sediment in drippers, it is a good idea to add CANNA D-block to the feed water and shield the tank from light. The best choice is pressure-compensated drippers, which provide even irrigation. There are also labyrinth drippers, which are less prone to blockage. It is also important to properly prepare the water and fertilizer mixture, using the right ingredients and fertilizers.

Canna is a renowned manufacturer of fertilizers and growing media, offering comprehensive solutions tailored to different growing methods. The brand's products are distinguished by their simplicity of application and high efficiency, supporting the healthy development of plants at every stage of growth and flowering.

The Canna Terra series is the ideal choice for traditional soil-based cultivation, providing support at key stages of development. Terra Vega provides plants with the nutrients necessary for healthy growth, while Terra Flores supports vigorous flowering, leading to abundant yields. It is complemented by Terra Professional Plus substrate, enriched with organic ingredients that provide optimal conditions for plants.

For coconut substrate enthusiasts, the Canna Coco series combines the advantages of hydroponics and traditional cultivation. Coco A & B binary fertilizer guarantees the right nutrient balance, while Canna Rhizotonic promotes root development. An excellent substrate is Coco Professional Plus, which is pH-stabilized to provide ideal conditions for growth.

In open hydroponic systems, the Canna Hydro series works best, where nutrients are delivered precisely and without recirculation. Hydro Vega supports the development of plants during the growth phase, and Hydro Flores provides essential ingredients at the flowering stage. For closed hydroponics, Canna Aqua offers solutions such as Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores, tailored for multiple uses of the nutrient solution.

Canna's all-purpose additives, such as Canna Boost Accelerator, increase flowering efficiency and improve crop quality, while Cannazym helps decompose dead organic matter to protect the root system. Canna Cure provides effective protection against pests and diseases, and Canna CalMag Agent supplements calcium and magnesium deficiencies.

Canna is a brand that has been providing proven solutions for professional and hobby crops, helping to achieve healthy and high-quality crops.

HOW TO AVOID PROBLEMS WITH DRIP IRRIGATION DURING PLANT CULTIVATION?

To prevent sediment build-up in drip irrigation systems during plant growth, it is worth adding CANNA D-block to the nutrient solution. It is also important to prevent algae growth in the nutrient tank, which can also clog the drip emitters. To avoid this problem, it is recommended to cover the tank to protect it from light.

Capillary drip emitters are the least precise and rarely deliver an equal amount of water to plants. Therefore, it is worth considering using pressure-compensating drip emitters, which ensure uniform watering. This system guarantees that each plant receives the same amount of water. Additionally, pressure-compensating drip emitters can be arranged linearly, making them more versatile. These are the most advanced drip emitters available on the market.

In addition to capillary and pressure-compensating drip emitters, there are also labyrinth drip emitters, which are more precise than capillary drip emitters but slightly less accurate than pressure-compensating drip emitters. They are also less prone to clogging.

PREPARATION OF WATER AND FERTILIZER MIXTURE

Before mixing the nutrient solutions, make sure you have all the necessary components. Check if you have the right fertilizer, such as Vega or Flores, Hard or Soft, and concentrates A and B.

  1. Fill a clean fertilizer tank with tap water at a temperature of about 20-22ºC. To achieve the right temperature, you can use warm water or an aquarium heater.
  2. Add the appropriate amount of CANNA Hydro A fertilizer based on the water conductivity value and mix thoroughly.
  3. Then add the exact same amount of CANNA Hydro B fertilizer and mix thoroughly again.
    1. Check the solution's conductivity with a conductivity meter. If it is too low, add more fertilizer; if it is too high, add more water. Monitor the proportions carefully.
    2. If you are mixing fertilizers for the first time, record the amounts used as a reference point. This will help in the future!
  4. Check the solution's pH with a pH meter; it should be in the range of 5.5 to 5.8. If necessary, adjust the pH using CANNA pH+ or CANNA pH+ Pro, or lower the pH using CANNA pH- Grow or CANNA pH- Bloom. Try to achieve the correct pH the first time, as frequent changes can harm water quality.

  5. Before giving the mixture to the plants, we recommend waiting for a while to allow the ingredients to dissolve and stabilize evenly.

As the plant grows, it is advisable to increase the amount of fertilizer in the water to ensure its proper development. Therefore, it is worth regularly adjusting the fertilizer dosage to the plant's needs. Remember that the values provided here are only approximate, and experimenting will help maximize yields in the future.
