Plants obtain key elements from both the air and light, but also from the nutrients contained in the soil. The roots and leaves of plants are essential components that enable their absorption. It is crucial that plants receive nutrients not only in the right amounts but also in the correct proportions. This can prevent nutrient deficiencies or toxicities (when the plant receives too many nutrients), as well as stimulate optimal development and condition of plants.
