Improving EC parameters for best results

In general, tap water in Europe has an EC (electrical conductivity) of close to 0.45. This type of water already contains a certain amount of Calcium and Magnesium. CANNA has developed its products to be optimally balanced using such tap water.

In Poland, some areas provide soft water, containing a lower value of Calcium and Magnesium than "ordinary" tap water. And in other areas, the water quality may even be too hard and even harmful to healthy plant development, forcing many growers to use osmotic water (reverse osmosis). Water from a reverse osmosis filter does NOT contain calcium or magnesium.

To ensure a balanced nutrient solution, soft or reverse osmosis water will need to be adjusted for Calcium and Magnesium. CANNA recommends CALMAG AGENT. With this product, providing Calcium and Magnesium in the right amount will be simple, and will allow the plant to absorb all the necessary elements for healthy and strong growth.

How to use to buffer soft water

CANNA CALMAG AGENT is a special concentrate for buffering soft water. It can be used on any type of substrate

Shake vigorously before use.
the nutrient tank with water (20-22 °C).

Add CANNA CALMAG AGENT at a rate of 0.1 - 0.5 ml per liter until the EC is 0.45 mS/cm. Add standard recommended nutrients and additives to the water surface.
