This is a block of coconut substrate, dehydrated and compressed for easy storage and transportation. Made from high quality coconut peat with moderate coconut fiber content. The composition includes rhizobacteria (PGPR), soil bacteria capable of colonizing plant roots to stimulate plant growth. When you add 18 liters of water, you get up to 70 liters of coconut peat.

UGro Small and UGro XL are two different sizes of the same organic and sustainable coconut substrate, compressed and dehydrated. There are different methods of preparing them for use. Below is the simplest method for preparing UGro Small and UGro XL, which differ only in volume.

UGRO SMALL

You will need: a bowl of clean water for hydration.
Prepare 3 liters of clean water and add to UGro Small to get 11 liters of coconut substrate.
Wait 2-3 minutes until the substrate is completely hydrated.
Observe how the substrate increases its volume - then it will be ready for use.

UGRO XL

You will need: a larger container with clean water for hydration.
Prepare 18 liters of clean water and add to UGro XL to get 70 liters of coconut substrate.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the substrate to hydrate completely.
Observe how the substrate increases its volume - then it will be ready for use.
