UGro Small and UGro XL are two different volumes of the same coconut substrate, peat-free, organic and sustainable, which has been compressed and dehydrated. There are several methods of using them. Here is the easiest way to use UGro Small and UGro XL, which are identical but with different volumes.

UGRO SMALL

You will need: a vessel with clean water for hydration.
Prepare 3 liters of clean water and add it to UGro Small to make 11 liters of coconut substrate.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the substrate to hydrate completely.
Watch it increase in volume, then it will be ready for use.

UGRO XL

You will need: a larger container with clean water for hydration.
Prepare 18 liters of clean water and add it to UGro XL to make 70 liters of coconut substrate.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the substrate to hydrate completely.
Watch it increase in volume, then it will be ready for use.
