Biovita’s Agro Gardening Expanded Clay is a natural, lightweight ceramic aggregate produced by firing clay at high temperatures. The characteristic porous structure of the granules helps improve soil structure, increases airflow to the root system, and promotes the drainage of excess moisture.

The 8–16 mm size is ideal for creating a drainage layer in pots, balcony planters, and larger containers. Expanded clay can also be added directly to the growing medium or used on its surface as a durable and attractive mulch.
