CANNA dosage – feeding chart for Terra, Coco, Aqua and Hydro

Looking for information on how to dose CANNA nutrients? Below you will find feeding charts for the main CANNA nutrient programmes: TERRA, COCO, AQUA and HYDRO.

Each range has been designed for a different growing medium or cultivation system. CANNA dosage should therefore be adjusted to the substrate, water quality, plant development stage and any additional products being used.

CANNA provides separate feeding schedules for its main nutrient lines, making it easier to choose the right programme for soil, coco and hydroponic systems.

CANNA AQUA – feeding chart

CANNA AQUA is intended for recirculating hydroponic systems in which the nutrient solution is reused.

The base nutrients are Aqua Vega A+B for the vegetative stage and Aqua Flores A+B for flowering. In recirculating systems, regular monitoring of EC and pH is especially important.

CANNA COCO – feeding chart

CANNA COCO is designed for coco substrates. The base nutrients are CANNA Coco A and Coco B, which are used together throughout both vegetative growth and flowering.

The standard maximum dosage is up to 40 ml Coco A and 40 ml Coco B per 10 litres of water. A suitable pH range is approximately 5.5–6.2.

Do not mix concentrated A and B nutrients directly together. First add Coco A to the water and mix thoroughly, then add Coco B.

CANNA HYDRO – feeding chart

CANNA HYDRO is designed for run-to-waste hydroponic systems where excess nutrient solution drains away and is not returned to the reservoir.

The base nutrients are Hydro Vega A+B during vegetative growth and Hydro Flores A+B during flowering.

As with CANNA Coco, concentrated A and B parts should never be mixed together directly. Dilute and mix each part separately in water.

CANNA TERRA – feeding chart

CANNA TERRA is designed for soil and peat-based substrates.

Terra Vega is used during vegetative growth, while Terra Flores is used during the flowering stage.

The standard maximum dosage for both products is up to 50 ml per 10 litres of water, equal to 5 ml/L. A suitable pH range is approximately 5.8–6.2.

How do you read a CANNA feeding chart?

CANNA feeding charts show how much base nutrient and each additive is used during the individual weeks of vegetative growth and flowering.

The listed values should be treated as guidelines rather than mandatory maximum doses. Adjust the dosage according to water quality, substrate, plant condition and EC.

What pH should be used with CANNA nutrients?

The recommended pH depends on the substrate and nutrient line. Typical values are approximately:

  • TERRA: pH 5.8–6.2,
  • COCO: pH 5.5–6.2,
  • hydroponic systems: generally around pH 5.2–6.2.

What does EC mean when using CANNA nutrients?

EC stands for electrical conductivity and indicates the concentration of dissolved mineral salts in the nutrient solution.

Monitoring EC is especially useful in coco and hydroponic systems because it helps control the overall strength of the nutrient solution.

CANNA PK 13/14 – when should it be used?

CANNA recommends using PK 13/14 for one week at the appropriate stage of flowering.

The base CANNA nutrients already contain phosphorus and potassium, so PK 13/14 is intended as a short-term boost during a key stage of flowering.

Can CANNA PK 13/14 be used for several weeks?

The standard CANNA recommendation is to use PK 13/14 for one week. Longer use may unnecessarily increase phosphorus and potassium levels.

Can CANNA nutrients be mixed with other brands?

Yes. CANNA nutrients and additives can be combined with products from other manufacturers, but the total nutrient composition must be taken into account.

Avoid automatically using two complete feeding programmes at full strength. Pay particular attention to:

  • PK boosters,
  • CalMag products,
  • micronutrient supplements,
  • flowering stimulators,
  • products that strongly increase EC.

Can CANNA be used with Plagron?

Yes. Selected products from both brands can be used together, but check their composition and avoid unnecessary duplication of base nutrients or strong PK boosters.

Can CANNA be used with BioBizz?

Yes. A CANNA additive can be used within a BioBizz feeding programme, but the differences between mineral and organic feeding should be taken into account.

Can CANNA be used with Advanced Nutrients?

Yes, but avoid using the full dosage of both complete nutrient programmes at the same time. It is usually better to choose one base programme and use selected products from the other brand as supplements.

Can CANNA A and B be mixed directly together?

No. Concentrated A and B nutrients should never be mixed directly together.

Add part A to the water first and mix thoroughly. Then add part B. Directly combining concentrates can cause some nutrients to form insoluble compounds.

FAQ – CANNA dosage

How do you dose CANNA nutrients?

The dosage depends on the chosen programme: TERRA, COCO, AQUA or HYDRO. Use the feeding chart that matches your substrate and growing system.

How much CANNA Terra Vega should I use per 10 litres?

The standard maximum dosage is up to 50 ml Terra Vega per 10 litres of water.

How much CANNA Terra Flores should I use per 10 litres?

The standard maximum dosage is up to 50 ml Terra Flores per 10 litres of water.

How much CANNA Coco A and B should I use per 10 litres?

The standard maximum dosage is up to 40 ml Coco A and 40 ml Coco B per 10 litres of water.

Are CANNA Coco A and B used throughout the full cycle?

Yes. CANNA Coco A and B are designed for both vegetative growth and flowering.

Can CANNA A and B be mixed together?

Do not mix the concentrates directly. Add A to water first, mix, then add B.

What pH should be used with CANNA Terra?

A suitable range is approximately pH 5.8–6.2.

What pH should be used with CANNA Coco?

A suitable range is approximately pH 5.5–6.2.

Should EC be measured when using CANNA?

EC monitoring is especially useful in Coco, Hydro and Aqua systems.

How long should CANNA PK 13/14 be used?

CANNA recommends using PK 13/14 for one week during the appropriate stage of flowering.

Can CANNA PK 13/14 be combined with another booster?

It can, but total phosphorus and potassium levels should be considered. Avoid automatically using full doses of several strong PK boosters at the same time.

Can CANNA be mixed with Plagron?

Yes, provided the total nutrient composition and dosage are controlled.

Can CANNA be mixed with BioBizz?

Yes, as long as the products are selected carefully and the differences between feeding programmes are taken into account.

Can CANNA be mixed with Advanced Nutrients?
